whatsapp chat analyzer

A WhatsApp chat analyzer that reads like a love letter.

Export your chat with your person, drop the file in, and LoveDash turns years of messages into charts about how the two of you actually talk. Nothing is uploaded: the file is read inside your browser tab.

What your WhatsApp chat says about you two

Most chat stats tools hand you a spreadsheet. LoveDash is built for the two of you: it counts the obvious things, like who sends more and how many messages you have exchanged, and then goes for the small rituals that make a relationship feel like yours.

Who says goodnight first, and how often. Who double texts. Who replies faster, and how reply times change through the day. The word you cannot stop using. Your longest streak of days without missing one, and your longest silence. Which hours of the night you are most awake together.

Rose is always one of you and plum is always the other, in every chart, so you can read the whole page at a glance.

Step by step

Takes about 10 seconds

  1. 1

    Open your chat with them.

WhatsApp chat screen with the contact name at the top
  2. 2

Tap their name at the top, scroll down, and tap "Export Chat".

WhatsApp contact info screen showing the Export Chat option
  3. 3

Choose "Without Media" — it's smaller and it's all we need.

WhatsApp export prompt with the Without Media option
  4. 4

Save it to Files, then drop it below.

Works straight from your phone — no waiting, nothing to request.

On Android the menu is slightly different: open the chat, tap the three-dot menu at the top right, choose More, then Export chat, and pick Without media.

Private by design, not by promise

Your WhatsApp export is parsed and analyzed in a Web Worker in your own browser. The messages never leave your device. If you choose to save your letter, only the aggregate numbers are stored: counts, times, and top words. There is no model reading your conversation and no copy of it on a server.

That is why you can analyze a chat that is deeply personal and still feel fine about it.

What you get and what it costs

The Love Letter is one bright page with eighteen charts. The Wrapped is an eight-chapter slow reveal with a soundtrack. During our $0.99 sale, either one is $0.99 and so are both together, until Oct 31. Regular prices are $4.99 each or $7.99 for both. One time, no subscription.

Both end on a deck of shareable cards sized for stories, included with either purchase.

Common questions

Is my chat private?

Yes. Your export is read and analyzed entirely inside your browser tab — the messages never get uploaded, and nobody (not us, not an AI) reads them. If you save a letter, only the aggregate numbers (counts, times, top words) and your opening line are stored, never your conversation.

How do I export a WhatsApp chat?

Open the chat, tap the contact name at the top, scroll down and tap Export Chat, then choose Without Media. Save the file and drop it into LoveDash. It takes about ten seconds.

What do I get?

The Love Letter is one page with 18 charts about how you two talk: who says goodnight first, who texts back faster, the word you cannot stop using, your longest streak and silence, and more. The Wrapped is an eight-chapter slow reveal with a soundtrack. Both end on shareable cards.

How much does it cost?

Right now everything is $0.99 in our sale: the Love Letter, the Wrapped, or both together, until Oct 31. Regular prices are $4.99 each, or $7.99 for both. It is a one-time purchase with no subscription.
